Hurricane Harvey hasn’t even made landfall yet, but it is already expected to be a historic storm. The category 2 hurricane is churning over the eastern Gulf of Mexico. It is large. It is powerful. Harvey On Satellite/Radar Maximum sustained winds were already higher than yesterday morning’s forecast. They were at 110mph with higher gusts. They have already evacuated many oil rigs in that region. The pressure had dropped to 950 mb (millibars). That is 28.03″ of mercury.
