Blog: Halloween Forecast Is A Bit Chilling!

Halloween Forecast

The forecast for Halloween looks good, but it will be a bit CHIIIIILLING this evening….Well, at least the temperatures.  I’m not sure how creepy it will be where you are.  Anyway, here is the Halloween forecast for tonight:

Halloween Forecast

Have fun this evening, but be safe.  Sunset is at 6:08pm.

During the day we’ll have some nice weather. We’ll have full sunshine as a strong area of high pressure is in place.  Also we have some very dry air in place.

Dew Points

Dew points are in the 30s across the entire region.  So it is bone-dry out there. There actually is a weak cold front off to our west.

Regional Weather Map

The front will move through today, but you won’t notice it.  There is cool air on both sides basically.  So the only thing that will happen is a weak wind-shift.  It will be out of the southwest this morning. Then it will turn out of the northwest this afternoon. It will only run at 5-10mph.  High temps will reach the upper 60s with a few 70s inland.

Tomorrow we’ll have a little increase in clouds, but otherwise it will be nice out. Highs will be in the low 70s.  We’ll warm up a little more on Thursday and Friday.  Highs will be in the mid-upper 70s.  Now it looks like a cold front will move in by the weekend.  So high temps will drop to the upper 60s to low 70s.  There may be some scattered showers on Sunday, but the chance dropped a little since yesterday.

In the tropics there is a weak disturbance in between Bermuda and the Azores, but it only has a low chance for any development.  It is fighting some wind shear as well as dry air.  We’ll keep you posted.
