An area of low pressure is moving across our Region this morning. Thankfully, it’s on the move at a nice pace which means it’s not going to stick around and wash-out our day. Regardless, it was very wet for the earlier part of the morning.
The rain is tapering off, but light showers will linger through Mid-Morning.
Then, as we approach Midday…most of the rain will be over for our area. However, some areas of drizzle could continue thru early afternoon.
Otherwise, we’ll just have to deal with the clouds dominating the sky thru the afternoon…with the clouds breaking up as we get into the late afternoon & early evening (closer to sunset).
Thankfully, the afternoon will be much drier than our morning…and Sunday will be an even better improvement compared to today. So, for all of the Mothers…Mother Nature decided to give you the gift of sunshine.
…Not just sunshine, but WARMER weather! Highs today will stay in the 60s, but Mothers’ Day brings 80s! That means the weather will not hinder any outdoor plans you have for mom.
There will be a weak (and dry) front that’ll cross our area Late Sunday night…leading to slightly cooler temps for Monday. Otherwise, expect warmer weather for next week…primarily 80s but 90s aren’t ruled out…especially by Thursday. So, if you’ve missed the warmer weather….it’s on the next thing smoking…arriving sooner than later. Enjoy the weekend!
