BLOG: The Chocolate Bunnies are Melting

I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter!  The weather was absolutely fantastic today – we had plenty of sunshine with highs in the low to mid-80s.  We weren’t the only ones enjoying the warmth – the 80s stretched all the way to New England!

You can see plenty of people enjoyed spending their holiday at the Oceanfront!

We’ll initially start with mainly clear skies this evening, but partly cloudy conditions will take over by morning.  It’ll be a mild start to the day with temperatures in the mid-60s – hopefully, that’ll make it easier to get out of bed on a Monday morning as everyone heads back to work and school.

More clouds will fill in as we go into the afternoon, but the mercury will still manage to climb into the upper-70s.  By 4 PM, scattered showers will develop across the region as a cold front drops in from the north.  If you have any outdoor activities planned after 4 PM, definitely keep an eye on the radar!

We’ll be tracking scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms from 4 PM through 10 PM..possibly as late as Midnight.  No strong or severe storms expected at this point.

Behind that frontal boundary, temperatures will cool off into the mid-60s for Tuesday and Wednesday.  The cooldown will be brief.

Expect a chance of isolated showers on Wednesday.  We’ll keep a chance of isolated showers in the forecast for Thursday and Friday as well, but by then, highs will return to the 70s and 80s.
