An upper level ridge of high pressure is sitting over the Gulf States and the SE. Upper disturbances are riding along the northern outline of the High, and they have created a few showers for our area already. Round 1 of the energy moves out around Midday…leading to a mainly dry afternoon.
However, more energy will round the northern edge of the high again by late afternoon & early evening…leading to more showers developing. So, hit & miss showers are also possible after 5PM thru around 9PM.
After 9PM, the rain chances diminish for our area. This means your Easter Sunday will be BEAUTIFUL in terms of weather!
Many of you may have plans to attend Sunrise services. If so, here’s an idea of what type of weather to expect early tomorrow morning. Sunrise on Easter Sunday will be at 6:29AM. Notice how mild it’s going to be during the early morning hours…
…then your Easter Sunday afternoon brings well above average temps. Today’s highs will reach the upper 70s, but temps soar into the Mid 80s for Sunday! So enjoy a lovely holiday & no weather worries for all of the Easter Egg Hunts taking place on Easter!. However, Today’s hunts may include a spotty shower here or there…
Enjoy your Easter Weekend!
