It’s going to be one of THOSE weekends. I call it a 50/50 weekend where clearly one day is going to be nicer than the other. Luckily, the best day will be on Easter Sunday – great news if you’re planning an outdoor Easter egg hunt!
First off – it’s a cooler start to the day with temperatures in the low to mid-40s, so you’ll definitely want a jacket as you head out the door.
You won’t need a jacket going into the afternoon though – the mercury will rebound into the upper-60s, near 70° under a mix of sun and clouds. Just note that winds will be light out of the east, as a result, it’ll be a couple of degrees cooler near the coast. Either way, a great day for all outdoor activities!
Of course the pollen count will be high again today. If you’re sniffling and sneezing from the pollen, you might look forward to showers on Saturday.
Skies will turn partly to mostly cloudy overnight and there will be a chance of a few morning showers as a warm front lifts into the region.
We’ll be tracking partial sunshine through Saturday afternoon with highs in the mid-70s. Another round of showers expected late tomorrow afternoon into the evening hours. Not the most pleasant change to the forecast, but the lawns and gardens could use a drink of water!
Easter Sunday will be dry and warm! We’ll start with a little bit of cloud cover, but sunshine will increase through the morning. With plenty of sunshine through the afternoon, temperatures will top out in the low to mid-80s!
As everyone heads back to work and school on Monday, expect partly sunny skies with a chance of a few afternoon showers courtesy of a cold front. Behind that front, temperatures will cool down a little, but remain above average. In fact, the mercury will stay above average for the next seven days!
Have a Happy Easter everyone!
