Seriously….wake me when something happens! Our weather pattern has been pretty quiet this week, and there’s not much going on over the next few days. Spring breakers didn’t have to go anywhere to enjoy beautiful weather!
A cold front dropped through the region yesterday, so cooler air will spill in behind that frontal boundary. It’ll be about 10° to 15° cooler today with highs in the mid-60s. Since we will be tracking a northeast breeze, it’ll be a touch cooler closer to the coast – but still a very pleasant day with plenty of sunshine!
If you’re heading to the Norfolk Tides game, they take on the Gwinnett Braves again at 12:05 PM. Since it’ll be bright, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to slather on some sunscreen!
Skies will remain mainly clear overnight with temperatures falling back into the mid to upper-40s.
High pressure will build in from the north tomorrow, which will turn the winds out of the east. Once again, temperatures will be a little bit cooler along the coast.
That high will sag farther south and slide offshore this weekend. Anytime an area of high pressure moves east of us, it turns winds out of the southwest, which as we know, is a warm wind direction. Having said that, highs will be back in the 70s on Saturday, then 80s expected Easter Sunday. (Don’t let those Easter eggs sit in the warm sun too long….eep!)
We won’t have to worry about any rain showers until Monday afternoon, and even then, it’ll just be isolated showers.
Take it easy!
