The southern portions of our area received some healthy rainfall totals on Monday. Totals around an inch were found in NE North Carolina with some localized areas getting more than an inch. The South Side averaged around a half inch of rain with less than a quarter of an inch for communities across the Peninsula & Eastern shore.
