Yesterday’s forecast went as planned. We did have some scattered thunderstorms during the late afternoon and evening. Scattered Storms Monday Our RPM model did a good job of forecasting the storms. It cooled down some homes, but others continued to bake in the heat. Highs were in the low-mid 90s. The heat index was over 100 in many places. A cool front was near the region and helped to lower the pressure in our area. Today that same front is lifting north as a warm front, and high pressure is building back.
