Tropical storm Hermine made landfall early this morning as a category 1 hurricane. It is now a tropical storm moving northeast through Georgia. Satellite/Radar Rain stretched out far from the storm. However, the moisture is already pushing into our region. It is running up against a cold front that has passed south of Hampton Roads. This will give us scattered showers today in the region with the best chance for rain over northeast North Carolina. It will be cooler today with highs in the upper 70s.
