Water restored to Virginia Beach neighborhood after main break

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Thirty-three residents in the Lake Placid neighborhood of Virginia Beach were without water as crews worked to repair a water main break Friday morning.

Erica Roberts with Virginia Beach Public Utilities said the break was reported around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Mirror Lake Drive and Olympic Drive.

The water was restored to residents just before 11 a.m., said Roberts.

The break was not near any main roads, so it did not affect traffic.
