Three people involved in Norfolk stabbing

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A man is charged with two counts each of malicious wounding and abduction after he allegedly stabbed two women, according to police.

Dispatchers say the emergency call came in around 2:13 a.m. for a stabbing in the 8200 block of Andrew Lane.

When police arrived to the scene, they found two women, ages 23 and 26, with stab wounds. Police say the two victims are expected to be okay.

Police investigation revealed all three people were inside the home on Andrew Lane when an argument started, which resulted in the stabbing.

The suspect, Luis Ortiz, 30, was booked in Norfolk City Jail without bond. He will appear in court Tuesday morning.
