Police investigating armed home invasion in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Police are investigating after a reported home invasion Sunday night.

Dispatch received an emergency call at 8:06 p.m. for officers to respond to the 800 block of 43rd Street.

Police spokesperson Daniel Hudson said occupants inside the apartment told the officers three unknown men knocked on the door. When they answered, the men rushed inside the home.

The armed men got away with personal property from the occupants.

No one was hurt during the incident.
