3 people survive plane crash after plane crashes into Middlesex home

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, Va. — Shortly after 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Virginia State Police was called to investigate a plane crash in an unoccupied home in Middlesex County.

A four seater single engine Mooney M2DC plane, attempted to take off from Hummel Field runway, when the engine stalled shortly after take off, the plane struck two trees and came down crashing into a non-occupied home in the 400 block of Eubank Landing Road.

The pilot, Keith M. Roxo, one female and infant occupant, were taken to Rappahannock General Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The State Police and FAA are continuing the investigation.
