HBCU Week: Going Beyond Graduation

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Well before graduation arrives, college and university students are thinking about their next step, and hopefully utilizing career placement resources on campus and in the community.

Today Alicia Bazemore from Norfolk State University and Meghan van Joosten, a communications specialist representing McDonald’s of Hampton Roads and northeastern North Carolina, talked about how businesses are partnering with career services directors to match the best and brightest with equally dynamic employment opportunities.
