Jordan Bridge back open following police activity closure

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Jordan Bridge is back open after being closed for several hours Friday due to police activity on the bridge.

Officers closed the bridge around 1:55 a.m., and it reopened just after 6:30 a.m.

Drivers were advised to use the Downtown Tunnel, Highrise Bridge or the Gilmerton Bridge as alternate routes during the closure.
