In The Kitchen: Pan Seared Sesame Tuna Sashimi and Stripers Style Tuna Poke

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Stripers Waterside is coming Fall of 2017 and to pump up the excitement about this great seafood restaurant, Chef Alfredo Landazuri came into our kitchen and made a couple of dishes with fresh local yellowfin tuna.

Alfredo made pan-seared sesame tuna sashimi served sushi style with rice noodles tossed with homemade sweet chili sauce, cilantro and pecans, finished with chipotle soy mustard and wasabi aioli. Chef also made Stripers style tuna poke, tossed with homemade Asian sauce over pickle cucumber and finished with fried won ton chips.
