North Landing Bridge reopens after mechanical issue

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The North Landing Bridge has reopened after being closed due to mechanical issue.

Patrick Bloodgood, with the US Army Corp of Engineers Norfolk District, said a part failed/malfunctioned on the bridge causing the bridge to be closed.

The bridge had also been closed for emergency repairs at the beginning of the month.
