COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One group, EndHate OSU, says they decided to release a video featuring diversity amongst Ohio State students in hopes people see the bigger picture: to stand together and celebrate all the different backgrounds and cultures that make up the university’s student body.

“We all have a different background story,” said Andrew Jackson, an OSU junior. “But in the end, we’re all human, we’re all trying to get through college together because sometimes it gets rough.”

Jackson came up with the idea of the EndHate OSU initiative, in hopes to promote love and unity.

Following Monday’s campus attack, students are searching for ways to heal. Jackson hopes students can find comfort.

“No matter what, we are Buckeyes,” he said. “And we will get through it together and that’s the only way we know how to, just hold onto each other and make sure everybody’s OK.”
