Suspect arrested in Portsmouth stabbing that injured woman, teen

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a stabbing Wednesday night.

Dispatchers received a call at 9:26 p.m., but no one was on the other end of the phone. Based on what dispatchers could hear, officers were sent to the 900 block of Randolph Street for a possible assault. When police got to the scene, they found a 16-year-old boy, a woman and a man with stab wounds.

All three of the victims were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police investigated and as a result, arrested the adult male involved in the incident, who police identified as 46-year-old Stevie B. Moore, of Portsmouth. He’s been charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding and is currently in custody of the Portsmouth Sheriff’s Office.
