2 killed in separate overnight homicides in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police are investigating two separate homicides in the Mermaid City that happened hours apart during the overnight hours of Tuesday.

The first happened at the Shop ‘N Go food mart in the Berkley area of the city just after midnight on Tuesday.

The victim was an employee of the store. Police identified him as 41-year-old Tony Boulos. Investigators say they found him in the parking lot of the store. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital where he later died.

Less than two hours later, police say 21-year-old Mike Watson was shot on Azalea Garden Road near Princess Anne Road. Police found Watson lying in the middle of the street.

Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police have not released any information on possible suspects in the shootings.
