(KRON)—Having a few glasses of wine can be good for your health, but anymore could have a negative effect, according to a study published by BMC Medicine.
The review found people who drank one or two alcoholic drinks a day reduced their chances of getting a stroke by eight percent.
Those who had more drinks than that increased their risk of stroke.
People who drank more than four times a day were 14 percent more likely to get a stroke each day.
Those who don’t drink at all are recommended to not start drinking as a health precaution, the lead author of the study said.
