Travelodge Virginia Beach robbed at gunpoint

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Travelodge Virginia Beach on Atlantic Avenue Thursday night.

Dispatchers received a call at 8:04 p.m. about the robbery. Police say two male suspects entered the business. One of the men had a weapon. The suspects took money from the front desk clerk before running away.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police described the first suspect as a black male, between 19 and 25-years-old, wearing jeans and a gray sweatshirt with the hood up and a bandana covering his face. The second suspect was described as a black male, between the ages of 19 and 22, wearing jeans and a gray hoodie with a design, a red undershirt and a bandana covering his face.
