Hampton police seek 3 suspects in jewelry store burglary

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Police are looking for three suspects in connection to the burglary of a Hampton jewelry store.

At 5:03 a.m. on November 15, police say three suspects broke into Jewels and Gems, located in the 2300 block of McMenamin Street. The suspects forced their way into one of the jewelry store’s front doors and stole cash and jewelry.

Two suspects have been identified and are wanted in this burglary.

19-year-old Naontaoe Deshawn Lyttle, of Newport News, has a last known address in the 400 block of Savage Drive. He’s also a suspect in other crimes. He faces charged of two counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, three counts of grand larceny and four counts of conspiracy to commit a felony.

18-year-old Kendell Elizah Wingfield, also of Newport News, is wanted for one count of burglary, two counts of grand larceny, and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. His last known address was in the 800 block of 21st Street.

Police described the third suspect as a black male wearing a black jacket and a tan cloth over his face.
