Sports and entertainment complex proposed for old Dome site

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach City Council heard a proposal Tuesday to build a 2,600-seat sports and entertainment at the old Dome site on the Oceanfront.

City Manager Dave Hansen released plans from a study that suggests the city build a $72 million field house that would also provide space for an entertainment venue and restaurants.
