Bomb threat on social media closed Gloucester Wal-Mart

GLOUCESTER, Va. (WAVY) – A bomb threat on social media closed the Gloucester Wal-Mart in the 6800 block of Walton Lane for three hours early Sunday.

According to dispatch, the call came in at midnight. Everyone in the store evacuated the building while bomb dogs went through the building to check for a device. The all clear was given when there was no trace of a device found inside. The store reopened at 3:03 a.m., according to dispatch.

This is still an active investigation. No other details have been released.
