RALEIGH, NC (WNCT) – The North Carolina Gubernatorial race continues as not all provisional and absentee ballots have been counted.
Attorney General Roy Cooper currently leads incumbent Governor Pat McCrory by nearly 7,902 votes in the latest count.
The State Board of Elections is updating the race as counties decide whether to include provisional and absentee ballots.
Durham County’s Board of Elections unanimously decided to not hold a recount.
Governor McCrory can ask for a recount if the margin remains 10-thousand or less.
