Two armed suspects rob Chesapeake gas station

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A gas station in Chesapeake was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Dispatchers received a call about the incident at 9:04 p.m. Officers responded to the Quest gas station, located in the 4300 block of Bainbridge Boulevard, for a reported armed robbery.

Police say two suspects, both wearing brown hoodies, entered the store. The first suspect approached the store clerk with a silver handgun and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect cash and both suspects ran out of the store, toward Bainbridge Boulevard.

Officers searched the area but weren’t able to find the suspects.
