NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police say a puppy went missing after a home burglary in Norfolk.

On November 7, officers responded to the 1300 block of Azalea Garden Road for a residential burglary. The victim told police he left the home around 6 p.m. and when he returned, the front door glass was broken, the door was unlocked and his 8-week-old puppy was missing.

The owner posted on Craigslist, offering a reward for the safe return of the American Bulldog pup, who is named Hiccup.

“No questions asked,” the post reads. “I just want my baby back please.”
