Paradise Creek Nature Park
You are invited to join us for Elizabeth River Project’s RIVERFest 2016 on Sunday, November 20 at Paradise Creek Nature Park. We anticipate more than 1,000 participants at the 5th annual festival which has become Hampton Roads’ premier environmental festival.
RIVERFest, which is free and open to the public, includes vendors of environmental & organic goods and products, exhibits, children’s activities, music, food and fun. This year’s event will also include a walk from Paradise Creek Nature Park to the top of the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge for a panoramic view of our great urban river. Walkers will then return to the Jordan Bridge for an afternoon of family fun. The Jordan Bridge will be closed to traffic from 1 pm – 3pm for the walk.
Special directions for day of event: Downtown Tunnel is recommended from Norfolk/VA Beach (the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge will CLOSE to vehicles from 12:30 to 3:30 for a festival walk). From the Downtown Tunnel, continue 264 West to Victory Blvd. Left on Victory Blvd for 3.2 miles to park on right.
