Clothing store closed after fire in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Fire Marshals are investigating after the Rainbow clothing store caught fire in the 1300 block of Kemps River Crossing area early Sunday morning.

Emergency dispatchers received the call around 5:40 a.m. and crews arrived on scene four minutes later. Chief Reynolds says crews on scene found heavy smoke coming from  a commercial strip shop. The fire was under control within 15 minutes. The business will be closed as a result of the fire.

The surrounding businesses only received minor smoke damage.

No injuries were reported during this incident.
