FEMA releases latest Hampton Roads assistance numbers

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) – FEMA sent out its weekly update Saturday on Hurricane Matthew disaster assistance in the Hampton Roads area.

Pres. Obama signs Virginia disaster declaration for Hampton Roads cities.

As of November 11, these are the number of registrations and the dollars approved for the following cities:

  • Chesapeake – 279 Registrations – $357,738.74
  • Newport News – 85 Registrations – $104,805.50
  • Norfolk– 736 Registrations – $171,091.48
  • Virginia Beach– 1475 Registrations – $2,986,241.27
