PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Protesters took to the streets of downtown Portland Tuesday night.

Dozens of people blocked traffic and MAX trains after midnight protesting the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States.

TriMet said MAX green and yellow lines were delayed in through the end of service Tuesday night because of the protesters.

A crowd estimated at about 300 grew throughout the night and blocked traffic on I-5.
