VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A grand jury will hear the case against a man suspected of drunk driving and hitting a teen girl in Virginia Beach.
47-year-old Paul James Williams is charged with three counts of felony hit-and-run, DUI, DUI maiming, expired inspection and driving without a seat belt.
On August 5, police said Williams was behind the wheel and hit several vehicles and a pedestrian walking along Holland Road near Governor’s Way. Williams ended up crashing at South Plaza Trail and Holland Road.
In court Friday, Williams waived his right to a preliminary hearing. His case will go the grand jury on November 14.
