7-Eleven on Kellam Road in Virginia Beach robbed

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — There was an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in the 300 block of Kellam Road Friday.

Police say the call came in at 3:42 p.m. A suspect entered the store demanding money from the registers while displaying a handgun. The suspect was last seen on foot running north on Kellam Road.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20s, between 5 feet 8 inches 5 feet 9 inches tall, 170 to 190 pounds, with light facial hair or a goatee, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up over a dark knit hat, dark sweat pants or pajama pants with grey marijuana leaves on them and dark sneakers.

Detectives believe this suspect may be involved in a robbery in Norfolk that happened on November 6.
