The attorney general’s visit to Hampton Roads comes less than a week before the General Election.

Clinton is looking to maintain leads that she appears to have in polls heading into Tuesday’s election, in light of recent revelations that the FBI will be looking into newly discovered emails.

The emails were discovered as part of the unrelated sexting investigation of Anthony Weiner.

A recent CNU poll — which was published before the FBI Director James Comey’s letter to congress — showed GOP hopeful Donald Trump gaining on Clinton in certain areas of Virginia.
