Local agents to help victims of Hurricane Matthew

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Virginia Association of REALTORS is offering homeowners up to $1,500 dollars to help residents affected by storm damage from Hurricane Matthew.

Agents say they got a $45,000 grant from the National Association of REALTORS on October 28th.  They plan to distribute that money to people in Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Isle of Wight County and York County.  The money is available for housing expenses only.
