Salisbury scores 21 in fourth quarter to drop CNU 45-24

NEWPORT NEWS (WAVY) – A 24-24 game after three quarters turned into a fourth-quarter landslide for visiting Salisbury, who handed Christopher Newport University a 45-24 loss; their second in as many weeks.

Matt Kelchner’s Captains (5-3, 4-3 New Jersey Athletic Conference) got 299 yards passing and two touchdowns from quarterback K.J. Kearney, who also added two interceptions. The Sea Gulls (7-1, 6-1) scored the last 28 points to earn the victory.
