Police: Wells Fargo robbed on Airline Blvd in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police say they are investigating a bank robbery at a Wells Fargo on Airline Boulevard.

Police says they received a call around 9:10 a.m. after the bank activated their hold-up alarm. The suspect pictured in security photos released Friday entered bank, demanded and left with cash after a teller complied.

No injuries reported in the incident.

The man in the security photos was wearing what appears to be a red and blue Nautica hat.
