Military Minute: Air Force Master Sergeant Ronald Bartsch

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – In this week’s Military Minute, we highlight the achievements of Air Force Master Sergeant Ronald Bartsch, who was recently awarded a second bronze star. Right now he is stationed at Joint Base Langley Eustis where he received the award from Col. Caroline Miller, 633rd Air Base Wing commander.

According to Air Combat Command Public Affairs, Bartsch received the award for his significant role in building two airfields overseas which enabled the completion of hundreds of missions during a special operations campaign in Southwest Asia in 2014 and 2015. Bartsch has deployed more than 17 times in his career.
