Man robs Suffolk 7-Eleven at gunpoint overnight

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A suspect is being sought by Suffolk police after a 7-Eleven convenience store on North Main Street was robbed at gunpoint overnight.

Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1:30 a.m., and a preliminary investigation found a man entered the store with a gun and demanded money from a clerk.

This suspect left the store with cash.

No one was injured during the incident. Police on Monday released surveillance photos of a man suspected in the robbery.
