3 fire departments respond to supply store fire in Edenton

EDENTON, N.C. (WAVY) – Edenton Fire Department, Center Hill Cross Roads Fire Department and Hertford Fire Department are working to put out an active fire at the Kellogg Supply store in the 400 block of West Queen Street Sunday morning.

A spokesperson for Edenton Fire Department says crews responded around 9:30 a.m. to the materials and hardware store and found flames stretched across the roof of the  business. The business was closed when the fire started and no one was inside at the time.

No injuries were reported during this incident. Fire officials are still investigating how exactly the fire started.
