Hampton man says bullets hit his vehicle, home

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A Hampton man says someone fired nine shots into their car and home early Friday morning.

According to police, it happened around 12:50 a.m. in the 300 block of Deaton Drive, in the Willow Oaks neighborhood.

Robert Cooper says it was his home and vehicle that were damaged. The bullets shattered two car windows and flattened a tire. He tells 10 On Your Side one bullet hit the mattress he and his wife were sleeping on.

No one was injured.
