CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – We have all heard of therapy dogs and therapy horses, but therapy ducks? A woman from North Carolina has one named Puff. Ashley Scott battles an auto-immune disorder and her duck provides a lot of comfort and affection. Puff is not yet officially certified, but she stays with Ashley during her breathing treatments and alongside when she is feeling unwell.
Ashley has had Puff since she was very young and they are quite bonded. Puff also has quite the wardrobe. She sports handmade duck diapers and tutus regularly.
