COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KXRM) — Kyle Cromina will be voting in his first presidential election.
“It’s a big deal but I’m not like the rest of the kids my age,” Cromina said.
The 21-year-old drove down from Denver with his two other brothers to attend the Trump rally at the Norris-Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs.
“He’s not like other candidates. He calls it like it is,” Cromina said.
The Republican presidential nominee made his third appearance in Colorado Springs and came out swinging at the establishment.
“We’re going to drain the swamp that is Washington D.C. and get rid of the corruption!” Trump said.
He outlined a 5-point plan to get it done – such as not allowing government officials to become lobbyists within 5 years of leaving office. He would also ask Congress to pass a new law limiting term limits.
Trump also said the mainstream media contribute to the corruption.
“The press is essentially an extension of the Clinton campaign. They are so dishonest. They have rigged the system,” Trump said.
Trump’s words resonated with James Vogt. He was one of the nearly 3,000 in attendance.
“I hear him speak and I know this is something historical,” Vogt Said.
Trump also spoke in Grand Junction today before heading to Las Vegas for Wednesday’s third and final debate.
