A grand jury certified sex crimes charges against Jordan in late March.

At last check, WAVY News learned that Jordan was placed on administrative leave from his role as assistant principal at Madison Alternative Center. 10 On Your Side has reached out to Norfolk Public Schools to see if he is still employed with the district.

In January, Jordan was accused of sexually propositioning a student in his office, asking her to come to his house after school. A warrant said the student didn’t go to his home, and didn’t attend school the next day because she was afraid.

“When she finally came back to school on Friday, the victim stated that [Jordan] saw her and told her ‘I’m gonna get you.’ It was at that point she told her teacher what had happened,” an investigator wrote in the warrant.

The school resource officer also told a detective that Jordan had a similar incident with another student, but it was not reported because the alleged victim was 18-years-old, according to the warrant.

Jordan will be sentenced on January 27, 2017.
