Virginia Beach IT firm to expand, creating 62 new jobs

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Virginia Beach information technology services firm is planning to double its workforce and build a new 15,000 square-foot facility.

Endurance IT Services provides information technology for private-sector clients.

Founded in 2008 by Blake White, Endurance has bought a two-acre site on Greenwich Road for their new headquarters location.

The expansion will create 62 new jobs with annual salaries between $85,000 and $95,000. Jobs include systems analyst, server engineer, network engineer, infrastructure engineer, project managers, fractional IT director, business development, business analyst and help desk engineer.

The company has received awards including Best Places to Work in Hampton Roads and Best Places to Work in Virginia. It was also named on the 2016 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies.

The Virginia Beach Development Authority has awarded an Economic Development Investment Program grant in the amount of $105,000 based on the number of jobs created. Endurance IT Services will invest more than $1.3 million in real estate, fixtures and business equipment.
