PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Police say two suspects robbed a Portsmouth store at gunpoint Tuesday night.

Police were called to a Family Dollar on Greenwood Drive shortly before 9:50 p.m. for a robbery. Two male suspects had entered the store, showed handguns and demanded money from a store clerk.

Surveillance footage released Wednesday shows two suspects walking into the store, and one of them pointing their gun at a clerk. He also reaches over the counter with the gun, and motions at a cash register.

The two left the store after being handed cash. No injuries were reported.
