No one hurt in car fire on interstate

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – No one was hurt when a vehicle caught fire on I-264 eastbound near Newtown Road early Sunday morning.

State troopers shut down all eastbound lanes around 3:20 a.m., according to VDOT’s Twitter page. Some lanes remained closed for more than an hour.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, but dispatchers did not say what caused it.

No one was hurt.
