Woman wanted by Hampton police for allegedly stabbing 71-year-old man

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Police are searching for a woman wanted in connection to a stabbing.

At 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, dispatchers received a call for a reported stabbing in the 100 block of Rip Rap Road. When officers arrived, they found a 71-year-old man inside a home with multiple stab wounds.

Police say the victim did not want to be taken by medics to the hospital, but drove himself there. He had non life-threatening injuries.

According to police, the victim and Tequisha Juanita Jones were inside the home when Jones began assaulting the victim, and stabbed him twice. Jones sped away from the scene in a gray or white vehicle.

Jones, a 28-year-old Norfolk woman with a last known address in the 7700 block of Harrison Road, is wanted for allegedly stabbing the man. There are warrants out for her arrest for charges including aggravated malicious wounding, robbery and use of a knife in commission of a felony.

Police described Jones as a black woman with a medium complexion, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds.
