Ex-Monarch Mortgage CEO pleads guilty to bankruptcy fraud

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Former Monarch Mortgage CEO Edward ‘Ted’ Yoder has pleaded guilty to federal bankruptcy fraud charges.

Yoder was arrested by authorities in early June and charged with concealment of assets, false oaths and false declarations.

Yoder will be sentenced in February, and faces a maximum of five years in prison.
